BAND BIOGRAPHY

Throughout the course of their musical union, the members of the David Perez Band have won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life both young and seasoned. Performing at a variety of venues and making countless public appearances spanning six decades in the industry the band has earned the admiration and affection of critics and fans alike.
 

The David Perez Band is an award winning band, that performs popular long-standing and current hits in both English and Spanish. . ¿No hablas español? Don’t worry, the award-winning David Perez Band will make you want to get on your feet and dance, no matter the language.  This five-generation family band are masters of Tejano music, a diverse genre that combines sounds from Mexico, America, and Europe. Tejano (literally Texan) could only come from Texas and is a testament to the strength of our shared, rich, cultural history.

The David Perez Band, originally from West Texas, now based in Northern California, with passports in hand they are available to travel anywhere the music calls them.  With several records and a few #1 hits along the way, the musicans that make up the David Perez Band are both seasoned, professional and highly respected members of the music industry.  They are proud to hold to have been inducted into the Tejano Music Hall of Fame, have been recognized by many organizations including The Armed Forces, community leaders, elected officials and their peers for their positive contributions to the music industry and the community at large.  2X MAMA award winner for Best Latin Band and nominations for both a SAMMIE and a NCEM award for Best Latin and Band.
